An Ordinance Naming A New Road

WHEREAS, on January 17, 2014 the City of Foley adopted Ordinance No. 14-1000 approving the Addressing Ordinance.
WHEREAS, Addressing Guidelines, Street Names 2) reads "The Mayor and Council shall have the authority to name streets within the City limits of Foley or change the name of a street as deemed necessary, subject to E-911 review."
BE IT ORDAINED that the Foley City Council as follows:
Section 1. What is currently an unnamed right-of-way will be paved. The portion of the right-of-way east of State Highway 59 and north of Miflin Road intersecting with Kenny Stabler Avenue be named Koniar Way.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon its publication as required by law.
