Request approval to go to bid for (1) Full Size 4WD SUV for daily use as a command vehicle by the Fire Chief. This vehicle will replace a 2007 Ford F-250 that will be reassigned to pull FFD trailers and equipment. This is a budgeted capital purchase in the Fire Ad Valorem Fund.

WHEREAS, the Foley Fire Department has identified a need and budgeted for a new full size 4WD SUV for daily use as a command vehicle for the Fire Chief under the Capital Purchase - Fire Ad Valorem Fund 02-600-7010 in the amount of $40,000,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves staff going to bid on the new vehicle which is included in the FY2015 Budget in the amount of $40,000.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
