Request to increase appropriation from $139,178 to $170,000 from the Capital Projects Planning document for the construction of two new soccer fields.   Construction includes clearing the land, leveling the fields, drainage, irrigation, electrical, and fencing to secure the property.  The project account number will be 12-665-7319.  The increase is mainly due to two foot of undercutting we are doing, which will cost $100,000 for materials alone.   We will not be requesting the shade pavilions for the Sports Complex to help make up for the deficit.  The shade structures were projected at $40,256.

WHEREAS, the City of Foley has budgeted $139,948 to construct two new soccer fields at the Foley Sports Complex, and
WHEREAS, bids and proposals have been obtained and the total project will cost approximately $170,000.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:       Appropriates an additional $30,052 for the purposes of clearing, constructing and securing two new soccer fields and amends the Capital Project Account 12-665-7319 Q94 CONST accordingly.
SECTION 2:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
