ACCEPTANCE OF AL HISTORICAL COMMISSION GRANT

WHEREAS, Resolution 16-1326 approved the application to the AL Historical Commission for a Certified Local Government for Historic Preservation Fund grant;
WHEREAS, the grant is a 60/40 match.
NOW THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, AL as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the AL Historical Commission Historic Preservation Fund Project Number AL-16-031 in the amount of $4,500 for an update to the Design Guidelines.
SECTION 2: Appoints Miriam Boutwell to serve as the Grant Manager, who will be responsible for submitting all required reports, reimbursement requests, and other correspondence to the Granting Agency and the City’s Grant Administrator.
SECTION 3: Grantee Cost Reports will be submitted to the AL Historical Commission on a quarterly basis.
SECTION 4: Approves the expenditure of the grant funds and amends the budget for the following accounts: Revenue Account 01-4963 increase $4,500. The match will be in-kind services currently budgeted in Personnel and other accounts.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
