WHEREAS, The City opted to pay a net amount of $6,000 to the City Engineer for moving expenses, and
WHEREAS, The funds for the moving expenses were expensed to the Engineering Department Miscellaneous Account causing that account to be over budget, and
WHEREAS, There is a need to memoralize allocation of these funds to the Relocation Expense Reimbursement Account.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves allocation of $9,355 ($6,000 plus payroll taxes other withholdings) to account #01-624-1170 to cover the amount paid to the City Engineer for moving expenses.
SECTION 2: Directs Finance Division personnel to reclassify the expense of $9,355 from 01-624-8990 to 01-624-1170.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
