Summary
The Environmental Department was previously awarded $65,500 for the Alabama Department of Environmental Management GOMESA Litter Trap Grant. The grant was set to expire on March 31, 2026, but there were still $4,000 left in grant funds for the project. The Environmental Department requested a grant extension and additional funding to cover the expected costs.
