Summary
Request to use existing budget funds to sponsor a fiberglass oyster statue that will be a part of the Oyster Trail that includes sites in Baldwin and Mobile Counties. Funds from this project support the Mobile Bay Oyster Gardening Program and its mission of restoring oyster reefs within Mobile Bay. The oyster statue will be placed at the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market, which will be located on a map that shows the placement of all oyster statues in Mobile and Baldwin Counties.

Please provide the amount requested: $1,800 the first year, plus $1,000 each year for an additional 4 years.

WHEREAS, the Marketing Department requests to use existing budget funds sponsor a fiberglass oyster statue to be a part of the Oyster Trail that supports the Mobile Bay Oyster Gardening Program and its mission of restoring oyster reefs within Mobile Bay
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:      Approves using existing budget funds from Account No. 01-625-5210 in support of the action.
SECTION 2:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
