WHEREAS, the Street Department has budgeted $3,000.00 for a winch for sign truck 0765 under Capital Purchase Account. 01-607-7010; and
WHEREAS, Gulf Truck has the lowest quote for the winch, parts and labor of $1,880.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the purchase and installation of a winch for the Street Department sign truck No. 0765 in the amount of $1,880.00 from Gulf Truck. This is a budgeted item from Capital Purchase Account No. 01-607-7010.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
