A Resolution Approving the Outdoor Classroom Improvements Capital Project
Summary
The Nature Parks Department requests council approval to start the Outdoor Classroom capital project at Graham Creek Nature Preserve. The project includes a new walkway to replace the rotting timbers, new amenities, replacing the climbing area and replacing signage. The classroom is a Nature Explore certified outdoor classroom that was installed with a grant in 2012. Many of the amenities have weathered and are a safety issue. The project is in the capital projects plan for up to $50,000.00. City staff and volunteers will perform the work.
