Body

 

     WHEREAS, the Museums and Heritage Department seeks to solicit bids for a Trackless Event Train;

 

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

 

     SECTION 1:     The Museums and Heritage Department is authorized to solicit bids for a Trackless Event Train in accordance with City purchasing policies and procedures.

 

     SECTION 2:     This resolution authorizes the solicitation of bids only. It does not award a bid, authorize a purchase, or appropriate funds.

 

     SECTION 3:     Following receipt and review of the bids, staff shall return to the City Council with the bid results and a recommendation for the Council's consideration of a bid award, purchase, and appropriation of funds.

 

     SECTION 4:     This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
