Requst that council accept Roof Doctors quote of $7,200 to replace the roof on the Welcome Center building located at 104 N. McKenzie St., in the amount of $7,200. Specifications are included on attached quote. Roof will be replaced with GAF Timberline shingles.

WHEREAS, replacement of the roof at the Welcome Center located at 104 N. McKenzie Street is included in the FY15 Capital Projects Fund Planning Document for up to $13,500.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves replacement of the Welcome Center roof by Roof Doctor in the amount of $7,200 and appropriates funding to Account 12-600-9385 A11 WCROOF.
SECTION 2: Approves $1,500 for facia, soffets and paint for the roof repairs and appropriates funding to Account 12-600-9385 A11 WCROOF.
SECTION 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
