The Fire Department has received a generous donation of $1000 from Frances Holk-Jones through State Farm and Frances Holk Insurance Co., Inc. intended to support our fire prevention program, specifically in purchasing smoke alarms. We are targeting specific groups this year with our fire prevention smoke alarm campaign, including our senior citizens and hispanic community. We are requesting that our Fire Department Donations Account 01-5044 be amended to reflect this unbudgeted $1000, and that our Fire Prevention / Public Education Account 01-609-5060 be amended to show an additional $1000, for a net affect of $0.
