Foley Youth Football had 123 football players and 30 cheerleaders participate in their program this year. They also needed to purchase new helmets for the program to insure the safety of the players. We are recommending Foley be a $2,000 sponsor for the program.

WHEREAS, Foley Youth Football is providing a program for 123 football players and 30 cheerleaders, and
WHEREAS, Foley Youth Football needs to purchase helmets to provide a safety for its players;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
Section 1: Recognizes that a sponsorship for Foley Youth Football is a useful public purpose of public funds; and
Section 2: Approves the budgeted expenditure of $2,000 from Account 100-5000-6021.
Section 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
