WHEREAS, the City has established a need for an automated external defibrillator (AED) to be placed in various locations throughout the City, and,
WHEREAS, the three areas, the Civic Center, Public Works, and the Parks Department, were omitted from the original purchase of AEDs.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Adjusts the budget and allows the purchase of three AEDs at a cost of $1,550.00 each for a total of $4,650.00 under account numbers 01-605-7010, 01-611-7010, and 01-616-7010 from Lifestar Bio-Medical.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
