Request a resolution supporting the Tough Mudder Event. Tough Mudder provided a list of requested services and equipment to reduce the bid fee amount. Request City services be provided and begin negotiations with neighboring areas to provide as many services as requested. Bid fee amount will be proposed at a later date once services are better defined.

WHEREAS, Tough Mudder is an extreme sports event that will have a large economic impact on the area, and
WHEREAS, Tough Mudder has requested a resolution of support for the City of Foley to host the event at Graham Creek Nature Preserve in February, and
WHEREAS, Tough Mudder has provided a list of requested services and equipment to reduce the bid fee amount, and
WHEREAS, Tough Mudder will propose a bid fee once the services and equipment are better defined.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves a resolution of support for the City of Foley to host a Tough Mudder event at Graham Creek Nature Preserve in February and support the use of services and equipment requested by Tough Mudder to reduce the bid fee to be proposed at a later date.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
