Resolution Approving Entering into the FBI's Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) Overtime Reimbursement Agreement for FY2026.
Summary
OCDETF offers a cost reimbursement agreement for overtime to outside law enforcement agencies assisting in OCDETF investigations. OCDETF has requested the Foley Police Department assist in those investigations and the hours worked by Foley officers would be reimbursed through the cost reimbursement agreement. Foley Police Department requests to enter the agreements and accept cost reimbursement of available funds for FY2026 from the OCDETF specific initiative program, Operation Dirty 30's SE-ALS-0130 beginning December 1, 2025. The reimbursement does not reimburse for employee benefits, only overtime pay. The overtime will be paid using OCDETF-FBI Overtime Account # 100-2010-5054 for Foley Police Officers assisting the task force, in turn, will be reimbursed to the City under OCDETF-FBI Revenue Account 100-2010-4105. The PD Administrative Supervisor will initiate preparation and submit, to the FBI, all documentation requesting reimbursement for the overtime expenses on a monthly basis. The maximum limit for reimbursement has not been established by the FBI as of this submission.
