Tricia Hughes and Sue Leavins with the Women's Care Medical Center who partners with the Baldwin County Board of Education to provide abstinence education programs would like to host a Walk for Life Walk-A-Thon fundraising event on March 13, 2027 from 7:00am until 10:30am. They will have 2 6ft tables, 6 chairs, cooler with water bottles and if it's raining they will erect 1 10x18 cover tent for sign-in purposes. They are requesting that all fees be waived.

WHEREAS, Tricia Hughes and Sue Leavins with the Women's Care Medical Center who partners with the Baldwin County Board of Education to provide abstinence education programs would like to host a Walk for Life Walk-A-Thon event March 13, 2027 from 7:00am until 10:30am, and
WHEREAS, they will have two 6ft tables, chairs, cooler with water bottles and if it's raining they will erect one 10x18 cover tent for sign-in purposes, and
WHEREAS, They are requesting that all fees be waived.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves waiving the fees for the use of Max Griffin Park for Tricia Hughes and Sue Leavins with the Women's Care Medical Center who partners with the Baldwin County Board of Education to provide abstinence education programs to host a Walk for Life Walk-A-Thon fundraising event on March 13, 2027 from 7:00am until 10:30am.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
