A Resolution Approving Street Closures and the Use of Heritage Park for the 2026 Society of Black Hats Foley Witches Ride Charity Event and After Party.

Sara Harkins, Brenda Shambo and the Foley Witches Ride Council is requesting the use of Heritage Park for the Annual Witches Ride After Party event on October 24, 2026 9AM - 10PM - in an effort to keep everyone downtown (they reserved the Farmers & Fisherman's Market in case of rain). This will be a ticketed event. A band will be set up under the gazebo and there will be 2-3 food trucks. They are also requesting the City of Foley to provide barricades to enclose the space at the park and the fire department's mobile lights. In addition they are requesting a variance to have alcohol in the park - it will be a "BYOB" event. They will provide a copy of their liability insurance policy and coordinate with the Police Department for security and street closures. They are requesting to close sections of Oak Street, Satsuma Avenue, Pine Street, Rose Avenue, Violet Avenue, & Highway 59 from 3 - 6 pm for the parade route. They are requesting all fees to be waived.
