200-250 people are expected to participate. There will be approximately 20 vendors set up in Heritage Park to help raise money and there will be activities set up in the park during and after the race. The race will begin at 8 a.m. but the the park will be needed at 6 a.m. to set up and end around 5 p.m. to clean up.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves Emmanuel's Place's request to hold a 5k run fundraiser on June 28, 2014 from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
SECTION 2: Approves the set up of 20 vendors at Heritage Park and activities to be set up at the park during and after the race.
SECTION 3: Waives the fees for the use of Heritage Park.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
