Accept LSTA (Library Services and Technology Act) Grant
Summary
Accept LSTA Grant in the amount of $15,000.00 to upgrade the Foley Public Library Computer Lab. The project request, when made in April, was for $50,000.00 with a local match of $12,500.00. The actual amount awarded was $15,000.00 which will require a local match of $3,750.00. The reduction in funds available was made by the Alabama Public Library Service as a means to distribute funds more equally throughout the state. In addition the Foley IT Department has contributed enough local funding to complete the replacement of all the computers in the Foley Public Library computer lab fulfilling the project parameters.
