To better accommodate the needs of the Nature Parks Department, we proposed to amend the pay plan by eliminating the vacant position of Natural Resources Specialist (Grade 110) and authorize an additional slot in the position of Parks Ranger I (Grade 60). The NRS position may be needed in the future if additional property is acquired, but adding another PR-I is key to help with the maintenance of the park and programming.
