Consider approving additional traffic control measures for the safety of the residents along South Oak Street

Body

     WHEREAS, additional traffic control measures have been requested by residents along South Oak Street, and

     WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has studied the area and recommends intersection changes to achieve uniform spacing and calm traffic flow along South Oak Street.

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

     SECTION 1:     Approves the installation of a new 3-way stop at South Oak Street and 7^th Avenue and an existing 4-way stop be relocated from 6^th Avenue to 5^th Avenue at South Oak Street.

     SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
