WHEREAS, the City of Foley is a Certified Local Government and is required to obtain certain CLG approved training to maintain this status, and;
WHEREAS, the Alabama Historical Commission offers Historic Preservation Fund grants with a 20% match for this purpose.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:       Memorializes the 2015 Historic Preservation Fund grant application and assigns $1,875 for in-kind services to meet the 20% match.
SECTION 2:       The majority of grant activity will occur in FY16.
SECTION 3:       This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
