The Parks and Recreation Department received a request from the Foley High School Wrestling Team to have fees waived for the use of Heritage Park for a dual meet vs. Robertsdale on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 2:30 pm - 9 pm. Admission is free to the public but they are requesting the use of portable lighting from the Fire Department and they would also like to sell concessions.

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department is requesting approval for the Foley High School Wrestling Team to use Heritage Park for a dual meet on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 2:30 pm - 9 pm, and
WHEREAS, they are requesting to borrow portable lighting from the Fire Department and also sell concessions.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves waiving fees and allowing the Foley High School Wrestling Team to use Heritage Park on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 2:30 - 9 pm.
SECTION 2: Approves the use of portable lighting from the Fire Department and also to be able to sell concessions during the event.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
