Summary
Description of Topic: (who, what, where, when, why and how much) An existing unopened alley that is bordered between Cedar Street and Beech Street on the east and west ends and US 98 and Carolyn Avenue on the north and south ends has grading challenges that restrict stormwater flow. Amore & Sole Holdings, LLC has submitted a development plan that includes improving the unopened alley including drainage infrastructure improvements as part of their Land Development Permit. Engineering has reviewed the engineer's opinion of probable cost prepared by Engineering Design Group, LLC (EDG) associated with the drainage infrastructure improvements. The applicant has requested and staff recommends a maximum contribution of up to $25,000 to be appropriated to the drainage infrastructure improvements associated with the drainage work and connection to the existing drainage infrastructure along the east side of Cedar Street.
