Council adopted Resolution 15-2166 authorizing the sale of 1.37 acres of land to Craine Creek Farms after an Executive Session on May 4, 2015. After an Executive Session on June 1, 2015, Council adopted Resolution 15-2194 Authorizing the selling of 1.37 acres of land to Craine Creek Farms. Both resolutions are the same and need to be rescinded in order to adopt one resolution containing stipulations from both resolutions 15-2166 and 15-2194.

WHEREAS, Council adopted Resolution 15-2166 authorizing the sale of 1.37 acres of land to Craine Creek Farms after an Executive Session on May 4, 2015, and

WHEREAS, after an Executive Session on June 1, 2015, Council adopted Resolution 15-2194 Authorizing the selling of 1.37 acres of land to Craine Creek Farms, and

WHEREAS, each resolution is generally the same but contain different stipulations and they need to be rescinded in order to adopt one resolution containing stipulations from both resolutions 15-2166 and 15-2194, and

WHEREAS, in an effort to expand the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market, the City would like to include a hydroponics facility in order to have locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes and lettuce, and

WHEREAS, Craine Creek Farms would like to construct a hydroponics greenhouse at the Northwest corner of the property where the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market is located on approximately 1.37 +/- acres, and

WHEREAS, they plan to have a bay for teaching Foley High School students as part of Foley High School's Agriculture Program that includes 700 +/- students, and

WHEREAS, Craine Creek Farms will also use the bay to educate tourists and citizens on how hydroponic gardening works.
