The Parks and Recreation Department budgeted $75,000 for a new Ford F-550 to eventually replace our current 2008 Ford F-550. The existing truck has exceeded its useful life and the frequency of maintenance has increased significantly in the last couple of years. This new truck is essential for hauling bulk material such as sand, mulch, gravel, stone, debris, and Christmas decorations. This is also a shared resource with the Horticulture Department to transport trees, plants, flowers, and other materials.
