Summary
Previously under 24-1381-RES & 25-1281, Council accepted the subrecipient grant and addendum #1 with Mobile Bay National Estuary Program (MBNEP). The MBNEP has award the City of Foley an additional $70,000 for the design and upgrade the Michigan Street Regional Detention Facility to incorporate low impact development techniques. The Environmental Department requests to memorialize the acceptance the amendment #2 to the subrecipient grant agreement and amend the revenue account accordingly.

WHEREAS, previously under 24-1381-RES & 25-1281, Council accepted the subrecipient grant and addendum #1 with Mobile Bay National Estuary Program (MBNEP), and

WHEREAS, the MBNEP has award the City of Foley an additional $70,000 for the design and upgrade the Michigan Street Regional Detention Facility to incorporate low impact development techniques, and

WHEREAS, the Environmental Department requests to memorialize the acceptance of amendment #2 to the subrecipient agreement and amend the revenue account accordingly.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

SECTION 1: Accepts the $70,000 amendment #2 to the subrecipient award to design and upgrade the Michigan Street Regional Drainage Facility to address stormwater management through low impact development techniques from the Dauphin Island Sea Lab & the Mobile Bay National Estuary Program.
