Theresa Gillaspie of 4-Elements is requesting to hold a monthly Art Walk at Orange Blossom Square every third Friday of the month beginning on February 21st from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. or later. This event would incorporate the downtown businesses to host an open house evening until 7:00 p.m. or later.
Ms. Gillaspie would like to share her plans and provide information on the event and Meg Hellmich would like to discuss the possibility of licensing the vendors in a manner similar to the way in which the Farmer's Market vendors are licensed.

WHEREAS, Theresa Gillaspie of 4-Elements is requesting to hold a monthly Art Walk at Orange Blossom Square every third Friday of the month beginning on February 21st from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. or later, and
WHEREAS, this event would incorporate the downtown businesses to host an open house evening until 7:00 p.m. or later, and
WHEREAS, there are 26 vendors interested in participating in the Art Walk, and
WHEREAS, these vendors feel the $100 business license fee is prohibitive, and
WHEREAS, the Revenue Department recommended a $20.00 annual business license fee plus any applicable issuance fees similar to the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermans Market's vendors.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
