The Foley City Council approved the American Heart Association's request to hold the annual Heart Walk on October 5th. Due to pending Tropical Storm Karen they would like to reschedule the event until the following Saturday, October 12th.

WHEREAS, due to pending Tropical Storm Karen's landfall scheduled the weekend of October 5th the American Heart Association has requested rescheduling the annual Heart Walk.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, approves the American Heart Association's request to reschedule the annual Heart Walk for Satruday, October 12, 2013 to be held at Heritage Park and Gazebo. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
