A Resolution to Accept the FY2020 Alabama Historic Commission Grant
Summary
The City of Foley Community Development Department (CDD) requested permission and was approved to apply for the FY2020 Alabama Historic Commission Historic Sites Grant Program on Resolution 19-1226. The Alabama Historic Commission has awarded the City of Foley $10,250 to assist with renovations to the Hamburg Building. There is $25,000 in the FY20 budget for repairs to the Hamburg building in the capital project plan. CDD requests to begin this project by working with Engineering to get quotes on the evaluation of the Hamburg structure and how to best proceed with needed repairs. The City of Foley Community Development Department requests the following accounts be amended accordingly: #400-3020-5129 (Hamburg Building Preservation Expense) in the amount of $10,250 & account #400-3020-4204 (AL Historic Commission Grant Revenue) in the amount of $10,250.
