WHEREAS, the Railroad Depot Museum Director Bonnie Donaldson has received requests from various groups for the operation of the Charlie Ebert train on days the train is not available, and
WHEREAS, the Museum-Archive Board unanimously voted to set a schedule for the train as follows with the exception of City designated events:
June 1 - August 31 - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
September 1 - May 31 - Saturday only.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the set operation schedule by volunteers of the Charlie Ebert train for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday during the months of June 1 through August 31 and Saturdays only during the months of September 1 through May 31 with the exception of City designated events or upon approval of the Museum-Archive Board.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
