WHEREAS, the Marketing Department requests to extend the current Lamars Companies contract of the billboard on Hwy. 59 advertising Foley's Visitor Center North, and
WHEREAS, the new contract would cover March 24 - Sept. 7, 2014, at a cost of $300 per month, for a total of $1,800, and
WHEREAS, this amount is budgeted.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:      Approves extending the current contract with the Lamars Companies for the HWY 59 billboard advertising Foley's Visitor Center North to cover the months of March 24 through September 7, 2014 for a total cost of $1,800, which is budgeted under Account No. 01-625-5210.
SECTION 2:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
