An Ordinance Approving the Sale of Property Owned by Riviera Utilities.

 The City of Gulf Shores is interested in purchasing property owned by the Riviera Utilities Board of the City of Foley for the purpose of establishing a City of Gulf Shores Fire Department on the property. The Riviera Utilities Board adopted Resolution No. 170221-3 authorizing the sale of this property. PPIN# 053351 and located on County Road 6 on February 21, 2017.

WHEREAS, the City of Gulf Shores is interested in purchasing property owned by the Riviera Utilities Board of the City of Foley for the purpose of establishing a City of Gulf Shores Fire Department on the property, and

 

                     WHEREAS, the Riviera Utilities Board adopted Resolution No. 170221-3 authorizing the sale of this property. PPIN# 053351 and located on County Road 6 on February 21, 2017.

 

 

BE IT ORDAINED that the Foley City Council as follows:

 

SECTION 1.                     Acknowledges that Riviera Utilities and the City of Gulf Shores, Alabama have reached a mutually agreeable term concerning the sale by Riviera Utilities of real property that is no longer needed.

 

SECTION 2:    Approves the sale of real property PPIN# 053351 consisting of 0.47 +-/ acres located on County Road 6 in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

         

                     SECTION 3.                     "The terms and provisions of this ordinance are severable.  If any part or portion of this ordinance is declared invalid, void, or unconstitutional, that portion shall be deemed severed, and the remaining portions of the ordinance shall remain in full force and effect."

 

SECTION 4.                     All ordinances or parts of ordinances, in any manner conflicting herewith are hereby repealed.

 

SECTION 5.                     This ordinance shall become effective upon its publication as required by law.
