A Resolution Approving the Use of Heritage Park for the 2024 Society of Black Hats Foley Witches Ride Charity Event and After Party.

Summary
The Foley Witches Ride Council is requesting the use of Heritage Park for the Annual Witches Ride After Party event on October 26, 2024 9AM - 10PM - in an effort to keep everyone downtown (they reserved the Farmers & Fisherman's Market in case of rain). This will be a ticketed event. A band will be set up under the gazebo and there will be 2-3 food trucks. They are also requesting the City of Foley to provide barricades to enclose the space at the park and the fire department's mobile lights. In addition they are requesting a variance to have alcohol in the park - it will be a "BYOB" event. In addition they are requesting that E. Violet Ave. be blocked off from 3pm - 6pm for the ride. They will provide a copy of their liability insurance policy and coordinate getting two Foley Police Officers for security when they meet to confirm the route plans. They are requesting all fees to be waived.
