Lightning Aviation currently charges tie down fees in the amount of $10/night with a maximum charge of $100/month to those individuals who park their aircraft on the apron space. These fees have been in effect since 2011 and a request has been made by Lightning Aviation to raise the rates to $12/night with a maximum charge of $120/month. The Airport Franchise Agreement states that any increase in tie down fees must be approved by the City of Foley.
