Approval Request By The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce For Variance To Allow Food Truck Vendors In The Downtown Foley's Historic District

Summary

The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is requesting a variance to allow food truck vendors in the Downtown Foley's Historic District to bring their food trucks onto festival designated public parking areas.

This will be held in conjunction with the Alabama Festival of Flavor, Saturday, October 18 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The areas encompassed within the variance would include Orange Avenue between 205 West Orange Avenue (Law Office of Johnston & Daniel) to the west and Hwy 59 to the east, Alston Street from Hwy 98 to the north and just south of Myrtle Ave.
Securing the variance will allow food trucks to offer festival attendees other vending options while enticing them to extend their time at the festival and explore the entire Historic Downtown Foley area.
