A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A LETTER IN SUPPORT OF ADVANTAGE SITES
Summary
The Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance is moving forward with renewing the Advantage Site program for the Foley Beach Express Industrial Park. They have requested two letters. One letter is a general letter of support from the Mayor and the second letter is a letter that identifies the agreed to sale price for property in the Industrial Park. This price is required to be honored for two years after placed in the program. The letter must be sent from any owners of the property which includes the City of Foley and the IDB.
The intention of the discussion is to verify and determine the pricing that both the City and the IDB must agree to and authorize staff to draft letters for the Mayor's signature.
