A Resolution Approving the Mid Year Adjustments to the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget and 2026 Capital Planning Document
Summary
A resolution prepared by the Finance Department to amend various operation and transfer accounts for unexpected events that occurred during the year. There is also a need to make changes to the FY 2026 capital planning documents. The net effect of the amendments in this resolution is an increase of approximately $889 thousand to the general fund balance.
Body
WHEREAS, there is a need to make amendments to the budgets of various City Funds.
WHEREAS, there is a need to make changes to the capital plan that was adopted with the fiscal year 2026 plan.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves amending the budgets of certain accounts listed on the attached pages.
SECTION 2: Accepts changes to capital projects plan on the attached pages.
SECTION 3: Approves to write off of an old grant receivable totaling $4,361.70 from fiscal year 2020-2023.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
