A Resolution Reappointing Members To The Foley Historic Commission

Kathryn LeDrew's term expires April 23, 2019 and she is willing to serve another term.

Jack Purser's term expires April 23, 2019 and he is willing to serve another term.

 

 

Body

WHEREAS,  the State of Alabama Ethics Commission says that public officials/board members fall under the State Ethics Law, and therefore should have the opportunity to educate themselves regarding this law, and

WHEREAS, the Alabama Ethics Commission has developed an online video training of the Alabama Ethics Law, which can be accessed at their website at www.ethics.alabama.gov, and

WHEREAS, all newly appointed and reappointed board members must submit a copy of their training certification to the City of Foley as a condition to being appointed/reappointed to the boards.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

SECTION 1: Reappoints Kathryn LeDrew to the Foley Historic Commission beginning April 24, 2019 and ending April 25, 2022 based on the conditions that she submit a copy of the Alabama Ethics Law certification to the City Clerk to be included in the City's General Files.

SECTION 2: Reappoints Jack Purser to the Foley Historic Commission beginning April 24, 2019 and ending April 25, 2022 based on the conditions that he submits a copy of the Alabama Ethics Law certification to the City Clerk to be included in the City's General Files.

SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
