A Resolution Appointing Roderick Burkle as Successor for The City of Foley Council District 3 Serving the Remainder of the Unexpired Term.

WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on The City of Foley Council for District 3 due to the passing of Council Member Richard Dayton on August 21, 2025; and

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to §11-44G-1(a), Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, the Council of The City of Foley appoints Roderick Burkle as successor to fill this vacancy and

serve the remainder of the unexpired term.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama:

 

Section 1. The Council of The City of Foley appoints Roderick Burkle as successor to fill this vacancy and serve the remainder of the unexpired term.

 

Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and publication as required by law.
