WHEREAS, the Sanitation Department had purchased a recycling truck for $42,589.57 under the amount budgeted under Capital Purchase Acoount No. 01-610-7010, and
WHEREAS, the Sanitation Department requests to go to bid for an Easy Dump that mounts directly to the chassis or on the bed of a pick-up truck that was planned for purchase in FY15.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the request to go to bid for an Easy Dump using the funds saved from the recycle truck purchase being under budget in an amount up to $38,000.
SECTION 2: No budget adjustment is necessary due to the funds remaining from the puchase of a recycling truck under Capital Purchase Account No. 01-610-7010.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
