AEMA has approved the final Reallocation Agreement for BP Oil Spill Funds in the amount of $132,985.40 for infrastructure enhancements and equipment at the Coastal Alabama Farmers & Fishermens Market (CAFFM). This cash is held by the General Fund and will be transfered to the City of Foley Public Facilities Cooperative District - CAFFM Fund.

WHEREAS, the City of Foley received BP Oil Spill funding of $252,025 per a grant agreement with Alabama Emergency Management Agency (AEMA) on July 10, 2010, for the purpose of boom deployment to protect the City's shoreline from the effects of the Deepwater Horizon Incident. Prior to the City's acquisition and deployment of boom, a tropical depression caused the removal of existing boom and AEMA's subsequent instruction to abandon future boom placement.
WHEREAS, reallocation requests of $119,039.60 were previously submitted and approved by AEMA leaving a balance of $132,985.40, and
WHEREAS, the City was also recently awarded $317,500 in BP Gulf Tourism and Seafood Promotional Fund Grant and is in the process of constructing the Coastal Alabama Farmers & Fishermens Market (CAFFM) to promote locally-produced farm produce and Gulf of Mexico seafood, and
