A Resolution to Rescind Resolution 20-1072 A Resolution Authorizing the Surplus & Disposal of Sanitation Truck #401055 (Old #1055)
Summary
On 03/02/2020, Sanitation truck #201055 (Old #1055) was declared surplus and disposal through J M Auction was approved. However, we need it at this time, and there is another Sanitation vehicle that we cannot use and that needs more attention than truck #201055. The Sanitation Dept. requests that Resolution 20-1072 authorizing the surplus & disposal of sanitation truck #401055 (Old #1055) be rescinded at this time.

WHEREAS, The Sanitation Department needs Vehicle # 201055 (Old# 1055) at this time, AND
WHEREAS, There is another Sanitation vehicle that we cannot use and that needs more attention than truck #201055, AND
WHEREAS, The Sanitation Dept. is requesting that Resolution 20-1072 authorizing the surplus & disposal of sanitation truck #401055 (Old #1055) be rescinded at this time.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves rescinding Resolution 20-1072 authorizing the surplus & disposal of sanitation truck #401055 (Old #1055).
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
