     WHEREAS, Parks and Leisure Services Executive Director David Thompson requests permission to apply for the Representative Jerry Carl FY2023 Community Project Funding Grant, and

     WHEREAS, Applications are being taken until Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 4:00pm CST., and

     WHEREAS, the funds will be used for the renovation of the old Armory building.

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

     SECTION 1: Approves Parks and Leisure Services Executive Director David Thompson to apply for  the Representative Jerry Carl FY2023 Community Project Funding Grant.

     SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
