Summary
The Sanitation Department would like to request that the Mayor sign a Letter of Intent for the Purchase of Three (3) 2023 Peterbilt 520 chassis from Performance Peterbilt of Hattiesburg, LLC for a total of $419,536.00 and Three (3) 2023 New Way Front Load 40 Yard Eject Bodies from SANSOM Equipment Company for a total of $384,399.00 for new ASL garbage trucks. The Full total of the Three (3) ASL Garbage Trucks is $803,935.00. Because of the unusually long lead time in getting a chassis & bodies for garbage trucks, we need to send a letter of intent to them to hold our place in the long list of companies ordering them for next year.
