WHEREAS, the Street Department budgeted $105,000 for a boom mower in the FY14 budget under Account No. 01-607-7010, and
WHEREAS, Kubota Tractor Corporation has a boom mower they can buy off HGAC Buy for $111,959.88, a difference of $6,959.88.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appropriates $6,969.88 for the purchase of a boom mower to Account No. 01-607-7010 and amends the FY14 budget accordingly.
SECTION 2: Approves the purchase of a boom mower in the amount of $111,959.88 from Kubota Tractor Corporation off HGAC Buy.
SECTION 3: Approves the request to go to bid for a boom mower if the above mentioned mower is no longer available on HGAC Buy.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
