AN ORDINANCE APPROVING PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF A RIGHT-OF-WAY INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FOLEY OWNED BY KEYSTONE DEVELOPMENT
Summary
Jade Consulting, LLC, on behalf of Wachter Family and Moses and Pamela and Anneas Moses requested to annex one parcel of land each into the Corporate limits of the City of Foley located south of West US HWY 98 an north of County Road 26. Council adopted Ordinances 21-2033 and 21-2034 annexing the properties on November 1, 2022. During the time of these annexations, there was a Right of Way that was owned by Baldwin County, which has now been vacated that was adjacent to both parcels of land. Jade Consulting, LLC is requesting to annex this Right-of -Way into the Corporate limits of the City of Foley located south of West US HWY 98 an north of County Road 26. Keyston DEvelopment now owns these annexed parcels.

WHEREAS, on the 25th day of April, 2022, Jade Consulting LLC on behalf of Keystone Development, being the owner(s) of all the real property did file with the City Clerk a petition asking that the said tract(s) or parcel(s) of land be annexed to and become a part of the City of Foley, and
WHEREAS, said petition did contain the signatures of all the owners of the described territory and a map of said property showing its relationship to the corporate limits of the City of Foley, and
WHEREAS, the governing body did determine that it is in the public interest that said property be annexed to the City of Foley and it did further determine that all legal requirements for annexing said real property have been met pursuant to Sections 11-42-20 through 11-42-24, Code of Alabama, 1975;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FOLEY, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS:
