WHEREAS, the existing culverts on Pecan Street received catastrophic damage during the April 28-29, 2014 rain event, FEMA Event #4176-DR-AL, and
WHEREAS, construction plans are now complete for the permanent improvements.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appropriates $310,000.00 for the construction of Pecan Street Culvert Replacement and up to $500.00 for advertising costs, amending Account No. 01-660-8300.
SECTION 2: Approves the solicitation of bids for the Pecan Street Culvert Replacement construction.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
