In order to finalize the construction plans for the new fire station on Fairway Dr., we are in need of some further site planning, civil engineering plans, and preliminary infrastructure work.  With these items in place, we will be prepared to go to bid on the construction of the new fire station.  The civil engineering plans and  infrastructure improvements will be in conjuction with other projects near the site, and these costs may be shared with other property owners or developers.

WHEREAS, a new fire station is planned for construction on Fairway Dr. in the Glenlakes subdivision, and
WHEREAS, funds are needed for additional site planning, civil engineering, and preliminary infrastructure improvements in order to finalize the plans for the bid process.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:      Appropriates funds for site planning, civil engineering, and preliminary infrastructure improvements under Account No. 12-665-7306 Q84 PROF in an amount not to exceed $10,000.
SECTION 2:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
